The management at Precise Calibration Centre, strongly believes that Quality is built in to a product right from its conception, i.e. at the time of designing the product in the R & D Lab. Quality is assured by performing Quality Operations and implementing Intelligent Quality Procedures, at various stages of the manufacturing processes.

The Quality Operations are performed by monitoring and controlling specifications at the stages such as Incoming Inspection, In-process Inspection, and Final Inspection.

Measuring Instruments enter this scenario at all the levels of such inspections and therefore the accuracy, resolution and reliability of the measuring instruments directly affect the over all quality and hence the performance of the product. At this juncture, Precise Calibration Centre plays a vital role in ascertaining the accuracy and reliability of the Measuring Instruments which are used in the manufacturing process at the clients’ workshop.

QUALITY SYSTEM

At Precise Calibration Centre, calibration is not treated as an ordinary check-job, but Calibration is understood as a deep-seated commitment on part of the entire organization. Hence all the calibrations at Precise Calibration Centre, carry a landmark of Quality which is long remembered by the clients, as this clearly improves the over all performance of their products.

Precise Calibration Centre has established and implemented a Quality System, in compliance with National/International Standards appropriate to the scope of the laboratory activities.

The documents pertaining to the policies, procedures and instructions are designed and controlled to maintain a Quality System. The scope of Calibration Facilities at the Laboratory, for the Linear Measurement is given under “Scope of Calibration Laboratory”.

POLICY OF CONFIDENTIALITY

The Top Management at Precise Calibration Centre has adopted a strict policy. For the circulation of confidential documents which includes manuals, procedures, instructions, specifications, calibration records, books, posters, notices, memoranda, software, drawings, plans, controlled copies, any document related to Precise Calibration Centre’s quality system policy and / or any internally generated document in any form such as written or printed paper copy, computer copy, hard copy, photographic negatives & positives, floppies, compact disks, and zips.

The management at Precise Calibration Centre is empowered with global visioning to interpret the true meaning of QUALITY to achieve and maintain the landmark of quality and standard of service while maintaining compliance with the international standards.

The management considers that it is the responsibility of all the personnel in the organization to familiarize themselves with the contents of the Quality Manual and comply with the policies and procedures expressed in Quality Manual, and the associated documents at all times; developing strict self disciplinary control over the matters of departure from documented policies and procedures.

The management at Precise Calibration Centre is committed to confine the Quality Operations strictly under the norms down by the national & international standards, and all quality related activities are always centered around CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.

MEASUREMENT TREACEABILITY

Traceability is the property of a result of measurement whereby it can be related to appropriate standards, generally national or international standards, through an unbroken chain of comparisons.

All the Master Instruments, Measuring Equipment and reference standards used for Calibrations, including the equipment for subsidiary measurements (e.g. measurement of temperature, and humidity) having a significant effect on accuracy and / or validity of Calibration Results, are required to be calibrated by NABL Accredited Calibration Laboratory before being put to service in the calibration area of the Laboratory. At Precise Calibration Centre, all the Master Instruments & Measuring Equipment are calibrated as per the Calibration Plan determined by the laboratory and revised from time to time.

SERVICES TO CUSTOMER

Precise Calibration Centre provides most efficient and accurate repairing service for all types of measuring instruments for which the calibration facilities are available in our laboratory. This repairing & servicing facility is available to our clients at the most reasonable rates. All minor repairs , error removal, Instrument cleaning for dust removal, as well as major repair work by replacing the worn out spare parts is done with great care and expertise so as to achieve the optimum performance results of the instrument under repair to ascertain the readings close to the tolerable limits of the original equipment manufacturer’s specifications. The rates are available to the clients against their specific inquiries.

Continuous communication with the client is maintained especially in large assignments and the laboratory shall inform the clients of any delays or major deviations in the performance of calibration.

The laboratory has worked out a policy & procedure for the resolution of the complaints received from the clients or other parties by phone, in person, or in writing. The complaint received by the laboratory is timely attended and resolved for the client’s satisfaction. Precise Calibration Centre shall analyse the root cause of the complaint and shall take the necessary corrective and preventive action as may be required.
